We want you to have a great experience with Upwordo. While digital subscriptions are generally non refundable, we know things can go wrong. If something is not working as expected, please reach out. Tell us what happened and we will review your request in good faith and do our best to help, without making any commitment to grant a refund.

1. General Principles

  1. Digital subscriptions provide access to content and features immediately upon purchase.
  2. As a general rule, we do not provide refunds for change of mind, dissatisfaction, or unused time. We encourage you to try the free version before subscribing.
  3. If you believe there has been a mistake or a problem with access, contact us and we will look into it promptly.

2. Where You Purchased Matters

  1. Apple App Store purchases: refunds are managed by Apple under Apple policies. Please submit requests through your Apple account. We can guide you to the right place if needed.
  2. Google Play purchases: refunds are managed by Google under Google policies. Please submit requests through your Google account. We are happy to point you to the correct steps.
  3. Direct purchases from Upwordo: the discretionary review process below applies.

3. Direct Purchases from Upwordo

For purchases made directly from us, we will consider refund or credit requests on a case by case basis. Examples of situations we are more likely to look favorably on include:

  1. Verified technical issues that prevent access to paid features after you reported the issue and we were unable to resolve it within a reasonable time.
  2. Duplicate charges or clear unauthorized transactions reported promptly.
  3. Material miscommunication about a paid feature where the experience differs in a significant way from what was described at purchase.

Situations that typically do not qualify:

  1. General dissatisfaction with content style or learning pace when the service is functioning as intended.
  2. Accidental purchases where the subscription has been accessed or used.
  3. Device, operating system, or connectivity limitations outside our control.

Outcomes we may consider at our discretion include a refund to the original payment method, a partial refund, a pro rated credit, or assistance to ensure full access going forward. We are not committing to any particular outcome, but we will try to be fair.

4. How to Request a Review

  2. If it is a technical issue, please report it as soon as possible and describe any error messages or steps to reproduce. This helps us help you faster.
  3. We may ask for additional information to verify your account and diagnose the problem.

5. Timing and Form of Any Refund or Credit

  1. If we approve a remedy, we will usually issue it to the original payment method or as account credit. Processing times depend on your payment provider.
  2. Any monetary refund will not exceed the amount you paid for the current billing period.

6. Statutory Rights

  1. Nothing in this Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under the law.
  2. Where a statutory withdrawal or cooling off right applies to digital content in your jurisdiction, you acknowledge that access starts immediately on purchase and that you consent to immediate performance, which may limit or extinguish that right, except where the law provides otherwise.
