How does Upwordo app work?
There are a lot of apps out there that try to give you a dopamine rush… unlike Upwordo, which we made deliberately very simple, with muted colors and no distractions (and no ads). Think of it as getting into your own little mind space – just you and the story – like when you read a book in your favorite café.
It’s like a good old way of learning with a teacher or a language book… but in a bite-sized and guided way – which makes it much easier – but very effective. You just follow the learning flow, and it all takes just a few minutes to learn new words in context.
Start: Pick a story for your language level
1 Listen to the story in small sections and answer comprehension questions
2 Fill in the blanks with the target vocabulary
3 Quickly repeat the words before the test
4 Test yourself by typing the words
5 Review the full story – That’s it. Simple & effective.
